The Ranga Ramanuja Veekayes Productivity & Cultural Council of Chennai, India have graciously bestowed new titles for both Guru and Shishya of Hindu Temple Rhythms in 2025. Following Ananya Anand‘s participation in their Margazhi Kadambothsavam Virtual Dance & Music Festival in December 2025, the council awarded Guru Smt. Sudha Chandra Sekhar with the title “Kala Shikarojwala” which can be loosely translated to mean “Radiant or Shining Peak of Art Excellence”. The title certificate reads:
Dear Guru Smt. Sudha Chandrasekhar, You are Patience, Sensitivity, Flexibility and Determination Personified. You are like a Candle which lights the way for others, You understand the Power of Connection. You Tug, Push and Lead your disciples to the next plateau. We are immensely pleased to confer the title of “Kala Shikarojwala” on you during the Margazhi Kadambothsavam – 2025 (A Virtual Dance & Music Festival) held on the 27th and 28th of December 2025.

The council additionally bestowed a new title upon HTR Alumni and star student Ananya Anand following her performance – ‘Kala Kshipra‘. We are proud of Ananya’s achievements and her dedication to Bharata Natyam!
We thank the Council for their tireless dedication to the promotion of Indian classical arts and for providing an opportunity for rising young artists like Ananya to showcase their art.
