December 6, 2025 at Bloomfield Hills High School, Michigan

Nritya Sudha’s Hindu Temple Rhythms is proud to announce our newest Arangetram alum Nandini Raju, who completed her Arangetram on December 6th, 2025 and captivated her wonderful audience with her endearing expressions and dance items.

Nandini danced the specially choreographed items selected for her by her mentor, Sudha Aunty, with devotion and love. Her inner passion for the art was evident throughout her recital. She gratefully received the valuable HTR Certificate of Completion of the prescribed course in Bharata Natyam at the end of the 3+ hour-long performance, accompanied by prolonged applause from her appreciative audience.

We appreciate our uber talented and dedicated orchestra members including Vidya Chandra Sekhar and Gopal Ven on enchanting Vocals, Vidwan Indiresh Maktal on Mridangam, Kumari Akshaya Rajkumar on the melodious violin, and Kumari Shreya Swaminathan on pleasing flute refrains. The orchestra was conducted by Nrityacharya Sudha Chandrasekhar on Nattuvangam.

HTR alums Malini Sarma, Gayathri Kathawate, Chitra Narayan, and Sushila Srinivasan gracefully introduced the proceedings, the orchestra, the Nritya Sudha’s Hindu Temple Rhythms team and Nandini’s family. Throughout the program Vidya Chandra Sekhar expertly connected the sequence of items while describing the stories and meanings of each item, which was much appreciated by the audience present.

HTR thanks all the dedicated volunteers who decorated the stage and entrance to the auditorium. A special shout-out to HTR family supporter and benefactor Rajkumar Ramamurthy, who, along with the theater sound team and others, helped manage the stage setup and other details. Thank you all so much!
Wishing all our beloved teachers, orchestra, friends, students, extended families, patrons, and supporters a beautiful holiday season.
